Dhanush could not have imagined or expected that his ‘Kolaveri di’ would get such a massive response. With thunderous feedback from all across India, the track on Youtube has crossed 10 million views.
‘Kolaveri di’ officially hit the stand on November 16 after the rough version of the track made it to internet through back door. The makers of the song, who did not plan to release the single, was forced to launch after it got leaked.
However, it turned out to be a blessing, as it became a sleeper hit thereby getting praise from not only Kollywood but from other film industries. As a proof to the popularity of the song, they have received 10,559,994 hits till date on Youtube.
‘Kolaveri di’ is a song from the forthcoming Tamil movie, 3, which is directed by Aishwarya Dhanush. The song composed by newcomer Anirudh is written and crooned by Dhanush.
