Sonia Agarwal’s ONV a tribute to actresses who ended their lives?

By the looks of it, it appears that actressSoniaAggarwal’s upcoming film Oru Nadigaiyin Vakkumoolam (ONV) could well turn out to be a film paying tributes to the (unending) list of popular actresses who ended their lives by committing suicide. The way the film’s recent audio launch shaped up led one to believe so.
Very few directors have had the courage to depict on screen an actress’ life as it exists in real life. Beneath the brave face put up by many an actresses, most of them appear to be under constant pressure from some quarters or the other to continue to perform and rake in money irrespective of their own choices and preferences.
Director Rajkrishna attempts to chronicle the life of an actress with ONV which stars ‘comeback queen’ Sonia Aggarwal in the lead. The trailer showed three beautiful songs and the director subtly depicted that an actress’ life is totally unpredictable. Either his work would be appreciated or criticized in as bad a manner as possible; what would happen will depend on how he has made the film.
The trailer also showed photos of actress Jayalakshmi, ‘Silk’ Smitha and Viji, who had all committed suicide at the prime of her careers and said that the film was a tribute to them. Hope Sonia manages to have a good beginning to her second stint!
