Actress Radha was introduced by Bharathiraja in the year 1981 through the film Alaigal Oivathillai.Karthik was also introduced through this film. Since this film was a great success, Radha had acted in numerous films.

Now Radha’s daughter Karthika made her debut through the Tamil film Ko directed by K V Anand. Though this film was a great hit, Karthika did not get any offers as expected. Now she is donning the female lead role in the film Annakodiyum Kodiveeranum directed by Bharathiraja.

Karthika while speaking about this said, “It gives me immense pleasure to act in this film. My mother Radha was introduced by Bharathiraja. My mother use to tell me about this very proudly. I also wanted to act in a Bharathiraja’s film. Now this has been fulfilled through the film Annakodiyum Kodiveeranum. Now I can also boast that I have acted in a Bharathiraja’s film.”
